HPL (high pressure laminate) is a material used to manufacture worktops or integrated washbasin tops with high levels of strength and durability. Specifically, it consists of panels made from layers of cellulose fibre impregnated with thermosetting resins that are subjected to a combined action of heat and high pressure. The result is a non-porous material that can be customised thanks to the numerous finishes available.
It is highly resistant to shocks and scratches, but also to changes in temperature and light, making it unalterable over time.
The non-porous surface makes it very hygienic and easy to clean with non-aggressive products and soft cloths.
LACQUER
Precious and elegant finishes in high gloss or matt versions for furniture:
Lacquering is carried out on MDF in gloss, matt, SoftTouch or metallic varnish.
The lacquering of the furniture is carried out on individual structural elements after sanding, which guarantees excellent colour fastness and a flawless surface. The painting process of the carousels also includes lacquering the inside of the fronts.
For maintenance and cleaning, it is sufficient to use neutral detergents and a soft cloth.
Matt
The matt finish has the characteristic of absorbing light, creating a very homogeneous and harmonious aesthetic effect, soft and pleasant to the touch.
For the Icone line and, on request, for all other collections, it is possible to request the SoftTouch version, which provides an excellent soft touch and makes the surface of the furniture completely matt and anti-reflective. Matt and SoftTouch lacquers are scratch and yellowing resistant.
Gloss finish
After painting, the furniture elements are further treated with very soft brushes and polishing pastes.
The brushed gloss lacquer has a higher level of finish, resulting in less surface impurities and a higher gloss that enhances the aesthetics of the furniture.
WOOD VENEER + 3D
Precious woods for a natural and high quality furniture finish:
Veneer consists of Idropan V100 wood panels (low formaldehyde content and high moisture protection) covered by a wood veneer called veneer. Precious wood veneers are used, cut along the grain of the tree, which emphasises the high quality of the wood.
Veneered furniture surfaces require very little maintenance: soft microfibre cloths dampened with a little water and wiped in the direction of the wood grain are suitable for cleaning.
